Build A Miracle - Accomplishments

More than 146 homes for needy families in Mexico;

All children in BAM families who maintain a “B” average receive school scholarships;

As of January 2012, in cooperation with our generous community,
Build A Miracle has built:

Education

A school cafeteria where 100 children receive a hot meal each day;

Three community centers that serve as libraries and computer labs,
and where volunteers provide after-school care and homework assistance;

Two homes for families that lost children in mudslides;

Seven homes for families that were living in makeshift tents in the city dump;

Dozens of home restorations including the installation of septic tanks, bathrooms with
running water and toilets, concrete floors, retaining walls, and roof repairs; and

An accessible home for a family with a daughter confined to a wheelchair.

Build A Miracle

Nine college students receive scholarships; and

One BAM college graduate (psychology major) now conducts counseling sessions
and teaches parenting classes at the local community center.
